Dan texted me "Greetings from Springer" along with these 2 photos. Kara looks a little tired after her first 8.8 miles carrying a pack . They are now officially at the starting point and are going at least 5 more miles today.

Dan we will be thinking about you often (jealous) and praying for safe travels. This is a huge undertaking and I know you are up to it. Will be reading the blog and keeping up with you and encouraging you along the way.
